Birmingham South Cahaba held a two-week coat drive in January. Employees and their friends and families donated
294 coats, jackets and sweaters for men, women and children. Additionally collected were 20 blankets, 30 pair of
socks, and 24 hats, scarves and gloves.
Participants included employees at the AOC, Data Center and Colonnade. Also partnering with us was the Anniston
Council President and the Voice of Life Ministries Church in Hueytown.
Donations were given to Jessie's Place, the Firehouse Shelter, the Center at Central Park, and the Highways to
Heaven Ministries.
