In Going Green, AT&T Pioneers have mobilized our network of more than 300,000
Pioneer volunteers to hit the streets, co-workers, friends and family and help recycle
more phones than ever before! Pioneers are expanding AT&T’s support of Cell
Phones for Soldiers (CPFS), which reduces e-waste while helping connect military
families though its cell recycling program. By collecting and recycling more than a
million phones over the last four year, CPFS has prevented more than 125 tons of e-
cards to hundreds of U.S. military families.
From Earth Day though Independence Day, the AT&T Pioneers Chapters had a
healthy competition amongst each other for $3,000 grants awarded to the top three
Chapters in their division/membership. With 31 Chapters participating – Pioneers
have collected a whopping 23,213 phones, far exceeding expectations!!!
The top 3 Chapters in their division are:
Division I: Mississippi (3,017 phones)
Division II: Golden Gate (879 phones)
Division III: Florida (3,810 phones)

AT&T Pioneers continue to collect cell phones in partnership with CPFS. Please
