AT&T Pioneer Volunteers
On behalf of the Golden Bear Chapter #29 welcome to our site!

The Golden Bear Chapter is a dynamic group of active and retired
AT&T Pioneers who
provide community service projects in the
communities we live and work in.

The Golden Bear Chapter covers the geographical area from the
Oregon Border to Bakersfield, the Pacific Ocean to the Nevada
State Line.  Our Chapter consists of five active councils and eleven
Life Member Clubs with approximately 16,000 members.

The focus areas for the Golden Bear Chapter are Education,
Environmental and Health and Human Services.  Our projects
include but are not limited to:

      Backpack distributions
      Christmas stocking
      Hug-a-Bears
      Signs for Life
      Files of Life
      Mentoring
      Fundraising
      Community clean-up projects
      Underprivileged children’s birthday parties
      Reality Check
      Kid’s Day at the Capitol
      West Coast Sports Jamboree
      Military Family Support
      Dictionaries for schools

It is our hope through our dedication in these focus areas to grow
our membership, increase our participation and to recruit new
leadership.

The Golden Bear Chapter’s mission is to provide rewarding
community service and fellowship opportunities for all employees,
retirees, partners and their families, develop leadership skills and
demonstrate corporate commitment.
