On October 11, 2012, Alliss Strogin, a retiree of Ohio Bell and a current member of
AT&T Pioneers Club (West Life Member), delivered nearly 300 dictionaries to be
distributed to each 3rd grade student and their teacher at Sharon , Hinckley and
Granger elementary schools.

Recently the East Pioneer Club donated $500 to the Cornerstone of Hope, which exists
because, in this life, the unthinkable sometimes happens. Whatever your experience,
HOPE is within your reach.

An array of community providers will be present to share valuable information and
resources with families. This will also be an opportunity for our local youth to
perform on stage and display their talents throughout the day. In addition,
Children Services staff will be on hand to share safety tips and parenting
information. Staff will also discuss adoption, foster care and volunteer
opportunities. Truly a family-oriented event, the festival will bring families together
to relax, play and learn.
By making the community aware of its needs, Franklin County Children Services
hopes that many children will find the friend, mentor, or a loving adoptive or foster
family they need. For more information, please call 341-6060 or visit www.
All day or part of the day, any help is welcome.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare and pass out over 2000 hotdogs and chips
