AT&T Pioneer Volunteers

GREETINGS FROM SILVER STATE CHAPTER #101!

The Silver State Chapter is comprised of active and retired
AT&T employees. We serve Reno, Sparks, Las Vegas and
Carson City as well as many other communities throughout
the state of Nevada.

We are involved in many volunteer activities and support
ongoing Pioneer projects such as US Maps, Project
Connect, Power Up to Read, Talking Books and Hug-A-
Bears. We support local schools and non-profits through
our Cool “Tools for Schools” backpack project. Our Health
Sack project allows up to team up with community college
dental students to provide dental hygiene information and
a fun dental kit to children. We provide Christmas
stockings to children in need and collect food for those
less fortunate with our Turkey Baskets.

Silver State has three life member clubs, Silver Sage,
Carson Valley and Desert Sands. All of our life member
clubs provide great service with projects such as: support
to deaf and impaired children, support to special needs
children with Christmas and Easter programs, an award
winning “Don’t Smoke” program, Hug-A-Bears, heart
pillows, support to homeless children in our school
systems, support to Head Start and many others.

If you are not a member, we urge you to become a
member and join us in serving our communities. If you are
a member, we appreciate your support and hope to see
you out at some of our projects!

We are always looking for new project ideas. If you have a
project in mind or would like more information, please
