Design Strategy  The combined logos (AT&T and Pioneers) are designed as a read-through --- meaning . . .
As you read from left to right you see --- AT&T Pioneers – A Volunteer Network
Supporting the AT&T Pioneers Brand  In an effort to support the Pioneers Brand, we intend to execute the correct and
consistent use of the Pioneers Signature. The objective is to give the Signature the appropriate balance and prominence, ensuring
the proper application of the new Pioneers Signature (logo) across the various groups that make up the Pioneers Family.
Value Proposition  -  What it is - Why it matters
Brand Pillars  What We Do --- Why we do it --- How we do it
Three Part Pioneer Signature (logo)  The signature has three components: the spark symbol, the Pioneers logotype and the
descriptor ‘a volunteer network’. These three components are carefully drawn pieces of artwork and should never be redrawn or altered.

We are now called AT&T Pioneers – A Volunteer Network or the AT&T Pioneers.

AT&T and the Pioneers have a co-branded relationship that is equal – as both brands bring the same amount of
equity to the marketplace.  To build this brand, we must ensure that our brand is communicated and delivered
clearly and consistently. It’s the first way we connect to our customers/volunteers, and it’s important that we use
them correctly everywhere they appear.  So you will always see the AT&T brand and the Pioneer brand together
as one entity – one organization.  And, it is preferred to always use the “horizontal logo” instead of the “vertical
logo”.

To preserve the integrity of the AT&T and Pioneer Signature, we should use it correctly and consistently in every
application. Please do not alter, distort or redraw the Signature in any way.  Follow the guidelines as written.

Brand names are considered “intellectual property” – and AT&T and the Pioneers have the legal right to ensure
that others may not use it without specific permission.  Remember, every single usage of the AT&T and Pioneer
Signature (or logo) must be approved by the AT&T Brand Center.  If you have an ongoing newsletter or branded
item, only a one-time approval is required as long as its usage is identical to the approved request.

To ease the transition and ensure consistency throughout the AT&T footprint, we are establishing templates and
designs that are approved, such as letterhead, business cards, mailing labels, etc.  These templates will be
posted on the Brand Support page.

We all have the responsibility to ensure that our Pioneer units uphold our reputation for integrity and follow the
established guidelines for the correct and consistent use of the AT&T Pioneers Signature and Brand.

In order to make this process as easy on you as possible, Warren Windau will coordinate and track branded
items used by all AT&T Pioneer Chapters, Councils and Clubs.

Working with the AT&T Brand Center, we will review the documents to make sure they meet the specifications of
the AT&T and Pioneer Guidelines and provide you with approval of your request within 4-5 business days.  If your
request does not meet brand approval, Warren will provide you with an alternate choice.
